You will ensure that customer feedback is integrated into your product lifecycle, driving improvements and ensuring quality standards are met. You will bridge the gap between customer expectations and product quality by streamlining communication between departments. You will be responsible and accountable for customer quality issues, act as liaison between customer and internal functional groups regarding reports and requirements to and from customer. You will report directly to Plant QA Manager
Key Responsibilities
Lead the re-solve project in plant and be a representative for global quality activity, attend the regional meeting to update the progress and pending issue.
Ensure and implementation of customer feedback (CF) in ETQ system was in place, conduct regular training and built-up customer quality awareness to all stakeholders.
Capture Customer quality issues, escape and escalations tied to product.
Drive Corrective Action Response (CAR), facilitating development of a clear plan.
Communicate containment/response plan to Customer and internal stakeholders.
Create and build 8D report capturing important information and decision rationale as issue progresses.
Support quick correction of quality and regulatory problems in a manner that prevents their recurrence.
Keep Customers briefed on issue progress and planned next steps to reduce further escalation.
Review process control (through an audit process) and ensure that action commitments are implemented.
Monthly update on customer complaint performance to supervisor and others function as requires. Identify the long-term strategy and short-term activity to mitigate, reduce customer complaints.
Qualifications
Possessed 1–2 years of experience in a quality function is required.
Practical research or laboratory experience is an advantage, and full training on specialized equipment will be provided.
Background in coating manufacturing is advantaged.
Bachelor's degree in chemistry / chemical engineering
Familiar of investigation tools, IS-IS not, why-why analysis, cause and effect diagram or related investigation tools.
Knowledge/or certified on IATF 16949, ISO 9001 requirements is an added advantage
