Harvest Hosts is the largest private RV camping network in North America. We provide a complete group of offerings to streamline the road travel and camping experience. Our collection of companies includes the central Harvest Hosts product, a membership that offers unique overnight stays at wineries, breweries, distilleries, golf courses, museums, and other scenic small businesses; Boondockers Welcome, a community of RVers allowing guests to stay overnight on their property for free; Escapees RV Club, one of the largest and most established RV membership organizations, offering resources, education, and community for all RVers; CampScanner, an alert service to book sold-out campgrounds; and Brit Stops, a membership connecting motorhome tourists in the UK and Ireland with small businesses for overnight stays. Harvest Hosts is currently growing its team to maintain rapid growth. All Harvest Hosts employees work 100% remotely.

The Position:  
Are you an analytical thinker who is tech-savvy and has a passion for helping others? Looking to break into the world of customer service? We’re hiring a Customer Experience Summer Associate to support our team during the busy summer season.

In this role, you’ll assist members and prospective members of our Escapees network through email, chat, and phone. You’ll provide thoughtful and empathetic support, troubleshoot technical issues, and help ensure a smooth and positive experience for our community. You’ll also contribute to daily operations and customer outreach, working across multiple tools and systems.

This is a fully remote position.  This role requires 40 hours per week with a core work week of Monday through Friday, with some weekend coverage, and will be paid hourly. The role will report to our Customer Experience Manager. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
  • Identifying, and troubleshooting or escalating technical issues 
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries
  • Communicating with customers through various channels, including online systems and phone
  • Completing administrative functions within our backend database and ticketing systems
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints
  • Familiarizing yourself with RV types, lingo, and items related to RVing
  • Knowing our products inside and out so that you can best help our members and hosts

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers each day
  • Critical thinking and intellectual curiosity 
  • Comfort with technical systems and app navigation
  • Experience with G Suite is a plus
  • Experience with Intercom or other ticketing systems is a plus
  • Bonus points for: 
    • Sense of humor
    • Passion for camping, RVing, and the outdoors
    • Experience in the travel and tourism industry

Compensation:
This position will pay a base rate of $15-17 per hour.

We are looking to fill this position as soon as we find the right candidate! We expect this position to span from
June to Sept. 5, 2025.
