Introduction to the job
The ASML Customer Connectivity solutions enable both remote working/collaboration and data transfer (software updates, system performance metrics, etc) to and from our customers in ‘the field’.
Customer Connectivity is responsible for creating and maintaining network connectivity and related application services on top of the connectivity layer. Application services include specialized file transfer (scheduled and ad hoc), remote machine management, remote operator interaction (chat), etc. The job requires affinity with both layers.
For the portfolio IT – R&D, we are looking for a System Architect Customer Connectivity (based in the Netherlands) who is ready to drive and show measurable results!
Role and responsibilities
She or he assumes technical leadership of the customer connectivity solutions within the ASML landscape. Responsibilities include:

Responsible for the ‘technical fit’ of the customer connectivity domain in the overall ASML IT and Customer IT landscape

Responsible for the solution / product lifecycle, ensuring the solution(s) stay up-to-date

Stakeholder Alignment (business architects, delivery managers, fellow architects, application owners and application architects, vendor/supplier)

Requirements Management (Development, Elicitation, Documentation)

Responsible for the creation Architecture Documentation
Education and experience
-
Master level (or equivalent) combination of education and experience, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
-
7+ years of experience in relevant architecture and/or solution architecture roles
-
Agile / SAFe methodology knowledge
a Pre: -
ArchiMate and TOGAF knowledge and working experience
-
Past experience in other architecture domains (software-, cloud-, network- and/or security architecture)

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
