In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework for bespoke software projects. This position requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software development, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The role emphasizes establishing and maintaining high standards for development practices, ensuring that solutions are scalable, performant, and aligned with the strategic goals of the organization. Collaboration with various stakeholders to synchronize efforts and drive project success is a key aspect of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure consistent quality and maintainability.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to optimize project outcomes.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Strong knowledge of IT service management processes and best practices within the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience in designing scalable and high-performance custom software architectures.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and make informed decisions that align with business objectives.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and quality assurance practices.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing effective solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
