Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications while serving as the main liaison for project stakeholders. This role requires overseeing the development process, coordinating with various teams to ensure alignment, and managing the delivery of tailored software solutions that meet client requirements. The position demands proactive problem-solving and continuous engagement with cross-functional groups to drive project success and maintain high standards throughout the application lifecycle.
Conceptual modelling, logical modelling, physical modelling, canonical data design, entity relationship modelling, metadata standards, collaboration with engineering teams
Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage, Cosmos DB, Azure Purview, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks (awareness), Key Vault

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of project tasks to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align project goals.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Services, Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform, Microsoft Azure Analytics Services.
- Strong knowledge of database design principles and data architecture best practices.
- Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
- Experience with data integration and transformation processes to support application development.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and analytics tools to enhance data accessibility and performance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
