Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager – SAP FI (S/4HANA Finance) to lead large-scale digital finance transformation programs. The role requires strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, solution architecture, and end-to-end program delivery across global engagements. The candidate will act as a strategic advisor to CFOs and finance leadership teams, driving finance transformation roadmaps and ensuring alignment of technology solutions with business and regulatory requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations from discovery to hypercare for large-scale transformation programs
Act as Finance Solution Architect for designing scalable SAP FI solutions using Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Fiori, embedded analytics, Central Finance, and Group Reporting
Drive CXO-level workshops, requirement gathering, blueprinting, and solution design activities
Translate business requirements into functional and technical architecture solutions
Oversee integration with SAP modules including CO, MM, SD, PS, Treasury, and FSCM
Manage interfaces, RICEFW objects, and third-party system integrations
Ensure delivery governance across scope, timeline, cost, and quality
Drive SAP Activate / Agile / Hybrid delivery methodologies
Lead and mentor global SAP FI teams and manage escalations
Ensure compliance with SOX, audit requirements, GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations
Support pre-sales activities including RFPs, effort estimation, and solution proposals
Drive innovation and continuous improvement using SAP S/4HANA advancements and automation
Professional & Technical Skills:
12–18 years of overall experience with 8–10+ years in SAP FI
2–4 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations (preferred)
Strong expertise in SAP FI modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting
Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes including financial closing and reporting
Hands-on experience in S/4HANA Finance including:
Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
New Asset Accounting
Fiori applications
Exposure to Central Finance, Group Reporting, and SAP Analytics Cloud / Embedded Analytics (preferred)
Strong stakeholder management experience with CFOs and senior leadership
Proven experience in leading global, multi-location SAP teams
Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models
Strong risk management, governance, and delivery oversight skills
SAP S/4HANA Finance certification preferred
Additional certifications in Central Finance / Group Reporting (good to have)
