Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the applications meet the desired requirements. The position demands proactive problem-solving and continuous collaboration to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business goals. The engineer acts as the main liaison for the project, managing priorities and driving progress to successful completion while adapting to evolving project needs and challenges.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth through knowledge sharing.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing applications to enhance functionality and user experience.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PySpark.
- Strong experience in distributed data processing and handling large-scale datasets.
- Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code using PySpark.
- Familiarity with data integration, transformation, and pipeline development.
- Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing PySpark applications.
- Understanding of cloud platforms and big data ecosystems is advantageous.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in PySpark.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
