As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, developing innovative software solutions, and ensuring that applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will also engage in problem-solving discussions, providing insights and recommendations to enhance project outcomes and drive efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Design and develop efficient, scalable, and high-performance backend APIs as a senior developer.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather, refine, and translate client requirements into technical solutions.
- Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, development, and delivery using tools like Jira.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python and 3 or more years of Python backend development.
- Strong problem-solving & debugging skills.
- Familiarity with Agile workflows and tools like Jira
- Strong in REST API design, development & performance optimization with FastAPI or equivalent frameworks (good to have)
- Experience with Snowflake (or similar data platforms) (good to have)
- Knowledge of Alembic for database migrations (good to have)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (good to have)
