Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing challenges to maintain project momentum and quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align project goals.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes to enhance team productivity and software quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of application design and configuration within cloud environments.
- Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing SAP ABAP Cloud applications.
- Ability to integrate SAP ABAP Cloud solutions with other enterprise systems and platforms.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and agile practices.
- Competence in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable software solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Cloud.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
