Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are tailored to enhance operational efficiency. You will engage in problem-solving activities, providing insights and recommendations that align with organizational goals, while also participating in discussions that shape the direction of projects and initiatives. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have influencing and advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders. - Mentor junior professionals, guiding them in best practices and project methodologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Advanced Compensation. - Strong understanding of compensation structures and methodologies. - Experience with application configuration and customization. - Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Familiarity with integration processes and data management within Workday. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Workday Advanced Compensation. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
