Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Infotainment Audio/Video Domain Lead to architect and lead the development of multimedia subsystems for automotive infotainment platforms. The ideal candidate will drive integration of audio/video frameworks, media services, and hardware abstraction layers to deliver immersive, reliable, and high-performance in-vehicle entertainment experiences Roles & Responsibilities: • Lead the design and development of audio/video subsystems for automotive infotainment platforms. • Own the integration of media frameworks (e.g., Android Media Framework, GStreamer, AudioFlinger, MediaCodec). • Collaborate with hardware, UX, and application teams to ensure seamless multimedia performance and user experience. • Drive compliance with automotive standards including ISO 26262, ASPICE, and ISO 21434. • Optimize audio routing, latency, synchronization, codec performance, and video rendering. • Manage integration of third-party media services (e.g., Bluetooth A2DP, CarPlay, Android Auto, streaming apps). • Interface with silicon vendors, Tier-1 suppliers, and OEMs to align multimedia platform requirements. • Mentor and guide engineers across audio/video, HAL, and embedded multimedia domains. • Own the multimedia roadmap and contribute to infotainment platform strategy • Ensure system performance, stability, and compliance with automotive standards. • Work closely with cross-functional teams across the globe Professional & Technical Skills: • Strong experience in embedded multimedia systems (Android Automotive, QNX, Linux). • Proficiency in audio/video frameworks, HAL development, and low-level debugging. • Familiarity with automotive-grade SoCs and DSPs for multimedia processing. • Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet) and audio buses (I2S, TDM). • Knowledge of secure media playback, DRM, and infotainment system diagnostics. • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills • Proven leadership in large-scale infotainment programs with OEMs/Tier-1s. • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross functional team • Good problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
