Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications function seamlessly within the existing infrastructure. You will also participate in testing and debugging processes, ensuring that the final product aligns with the intended specifications and user needs. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency and delivering high-quality software solutions that drive business success. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have influencing and advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Extend. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with application integration and data migration strategies. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies. - Experience in developing custom applications using Workday Extend. - Familiarity with agile project management practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Workday Extend. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
