Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work, contributing to the overall success of the projects. Roles & Responsibilities: -A talented and motivated Automotive Software Architect who will play a crucial role in defining and managing overall software architect for automotive projects, collaborating closely with software and hardware teams, and conducting gap analysis in partnership with OEMs (original equipment manufacturers).Key Responsibilities: · Define and evolve software architectures for automotive systems, considering factors such as performance, scalability, safety, and security. · Establish design patterns, frameworks, and guidelines to facilitate modular and maintainable software development. · Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and prioritize software requirements. · Translate requirements into architectural designs and technical specifications. · Conduct feasibility studies and assess technical risks to inform decision-making. · Work with cross-functional teams of software engineers, system architects, and quality assurance specialists to drive the implementation of software solutions. · Define strategies and processes for software quality assurance and testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing. · Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, such as ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE. · Identify performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities within software architectures. · Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize software-hardware interactions and maximize system performance Professional & Technical Skills: - 7+ years of experience in Automotive Industry with knowledge in automotive software architecture and development, with a strong focus on embedded systems and realtime software. · Proficiency in software architecture design principles, patterns, and methodologies. · Experience with architecture modeling tools (e.g., UML, SysML) is desirable. · Expertise in programming languages commonly used in automotive software development, such as Matlab, C, CPP, and Python. · Familiarity with AUTOSAR architecture is a plus. · Strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes and methodologies, including agile and waterfall approaches. · Certification in relevant areas such as Certified Automotive Software Engineer (CASE) or Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) is advantageous.Professional Attributes: · Good problem-solving and analytical skills. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders" Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Automotive ECU Software. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.15 years full time education
