Summary: We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) Associate Manager to lead a team of DBAs, ensure seamless database operations, and deliver high-quality database management services for critical client environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Oracle Database technologies, combined with proven leadership skills to manage a global DBA team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities: • Manage the installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle databases (versions 11g/12c/19c) across production and non-production environments. • Oversee performance tuning, database optimization, and proactive monitoring to ensure high availability. • Ensure database security, user access controls, and compliance with organizational and client standards. • Manage database backup and recovery strategies using RMAN/Data Guard. • Oversee database upgrades, migrations, and patching activities with minimal downtime. • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Oracle DBAs, including offshore and onshore resources. • Allocate work, track deliverables, and ensure SLA adherence. • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and training sessions for the DBA team. • Support team members on complex technical escalations and act as the primary escalation point. • Collaborate closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure seamless database operations. • Act as the primary point of contact for client interactions related to database services. • Provide regular updates to leadership and clients regarding ongoing projects, database performance, and incident resolutions • Oversee database-related deliverables for new client transitions and greenfield implementations. • Participate in solution design discussions and provide input on database architecture and capacity planning. • Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and handover between project and support teams Professional & Technical Skills: • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. • Client-facing capabilities with a consultative approach. • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM) preferred. • ITIL certification is a plus. Additional Information: • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • A 15 years full-time education is required15 years full time education
