Summary: Manufacturing Integrations Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing integrations between manufacturing systems, the key ones being interfaces between ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), MES (Manufacturing Execution System), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), WMS (Warehouse Management System) and OT systems etc. This role ensures manufacturing integrations across projects are designed to leverage the optimal technical approach and are robust, interoperable, standardized and reusable. The architect will work closely with business and IT stakeholders of clients and Accenture leads in aligning integration strategies to meet organizational project goals. Roles & Responsibilities: -Define and maintain the IT–OT integration architecture, aligning enterprise and shop-floor systems for digital manufacturing connectivity and interoperability. -Develop and enforce integration standards, data models, and communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs, EDI etc.). -Recommend, design/ develop and configure solutions with integration platforms or middleware (e.g., Azure IoT Hub, Kepware, Ignition, MuleSoft etc.). -Create and maintain technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and integration architecture maps. -Lead design, development and deployment of interfaces enabling end-to-end system connectivity: digital engineering (PLM) to enterprise operations (ERP) to production/ shopfloor (MES/SCADA/ PLCs/ Historian/ sensors) and logistics (WMS). -Ensure integrations meet cybersecurity, scalability, reliability, data accuracy and performance standards -Troubleshoot data flow or communication issues between IT and OT layers. -Partner IT and OT stakeholders and partners to identify integration opportunities and design optimal solutions. -Establish data governance and interface management practices to ensure consistent and compliant information exchange. -Provide training and knowledge sharing on IT–OT integration standards, tools, and best practices. Professional & Technical Skills Must have Skills: -Proven expertise with integration of manufacturing and enterprise systems. Knowledge of interfacing at least 1 ERP (SAP S4 HANA/ ECC, Oracle, Dynamics etc.), at least 1-2 MES (Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Aveva MES), PLM (Teamcenter, Windchill), WMS (SAP EWM, Blue Yonder, Manhattan). -Experience in systems integration projects, having been involved hands-on and led the following: define, design, configure and implement interfaces. -Knowledge of modern integration approaches: micro-services, cloud/hybrid integrations, event-driven architecture, API gateways, message queues, enterprise service bus (ESB), data mapping and transformation leveraging ETL tools etc. -Knowledge of interfaces development and deployment architecture for both on-premise and cloud e.g. Rest services, Azure logic apps etc. -Knowledge of middleware technologies e.g. Azure Integration Services, Mulesoft, BizTalk, Websphere. Informatica, Dell Boomi, iPass, AIS etc. -Strong understanding of shop-floor automation and OT protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, Profinet). -Familiarity with security & compliance aspects in integrations (data encryption, privacy, logging, audit trails) and cybersecurity standards for data integration -Strong thought leadership, articulation and presentation skills with the ability to articulate through compelling story telling Good to Have Skills: -Knowledge of pan-enterprise integration architecture -Experience of integration using SAP 4 HANA, SAP ECC, SAP CPI, SAP BW and other ERP modules. -Strong knowledge of at least one industry domain (viz. consumer goods, energy, industrial manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, utilities, semiconductors etc.) Additional Information: -The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in above skill -A full-time 15 years of education is required. (BE/B.Tech) -This position is based out of multiple locations15 years full time education
