Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves creating tailored software solutions that integrate seamlessly within various systems or applications. You will engage in designing, coding, and refining software components, ensuring they meet specific business requirements. Your work will be guided by contemporary development frameworks and agile methodologies, enabling the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous improvement of software performance are key aspects of your daily responsibilities, contributing to the overall success of the projects you support.

- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have Influencing and Advisory skills.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies to enhance software development processes.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automotive ECU Software.
- Strong expertise in embedded software development and real-time operating systems.
- Experience with software architecture design and system integration in automotive environments.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and agile methodologies.
- Ability to analyze and optimize software performance and reliability.
- Skilled in debugging, testing, and validating software components to meet quality standards.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Automotive ECU Software.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Communication Automotive Engineering Mechatronics Computer Science Instrumentation or equivalent is required.
