- Supporting the realisation of the enterprise and solution architecture, working as part of development teams throughout the engineering development lifecycle
- Providing technical guidance, resolving architectural impediments, and championing the adoption of architecture patterns and practices
- Collaborating with programme stakeholders to help define the minimum viable solution architectures, while following the bank s architecture method and frameworks
- Supporting the selection and integration of technologies using the bank s approved technology catalogues and patterns, with a focus on practical and immediate application
- Adopting a DevOps mindset by working as part of development teams to embed architecture guidance in CI/CD pipelines
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Solution Architecture.
- Skill required: To take on this role, you ll need practitioner knowledge of solution architecture frameworks, modern technologies such as Cloud, Microservices and AI, Agile architecture and DevOps practices, with a strong understanding of Supply Chain Finance products, services and processes. In addition, you ll also be able to clearly articulate the architectures you have designed particularly those involving the end to end design of a SCF product , including API, event-driven and core banking integrations e.g. Digital channels, Payments, Finance, Open banking and Security systems.
- Experience of: Defining and developing strategic target architectures that align with organizational objectives, Excellent stakeholder management across business and technology teams to deliver architecture that supports measurable outcomes
- Contributing to collaborative architecture decisions while maintaining alignment to strategic principles and objectives
- Supporting architecture and design reviews to validate that solutions meet business needs and comply with architecture standards
- People capability development, including mentoring, encouraging knowledge sharing across architecture teams and promoting best practices
- Strong experience in Cloud Architecture, preferably AWS.
- Strong expertise in designing scalable and maintainable software systems.
- Experience with modern software development frameworks and agile methodologies.
