Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that meet unique business requirements. The role includes coding and refining various components within systems or applications, ensuring they perform efficiently and scale effectively. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is integral to adapt solutions dynamically, while employing modern development methodologies to maintain agility and responsiveness throughout the project lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities Backend & Microservices (Spring Boot)o Develop and deploy RESTful microservices using Spring Boot and Java.
o Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter
o API Management using Kubernetes /Docker
o Integrate Oracle MDM with external systems through APIs, middleware, or messaging queues (Kafka).
o Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance tuning of microservices.
o Implement security (OAuth2/JWT), caching, and monitoring for services.
Collaboration & Delivery
o Work closely with data architects, frontend developers, and business analysts to gather requirements.
o Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment in cloud/on-prem environments.
o Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization.

Required Skills
Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes and Docker
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, and API integrations.
Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.
Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI etc.).
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) preferred.

Nice To Have :
Hands-on expertise in Automic (Job Scheduling)
Experience with Grafana , OpenSearch and Ansible
Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
Experience with Oracle Database programming with PL/SQL Certificate
Experience in Informatica Power Center ( ETL Process)
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software components.
- Continuously improve software by identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Document development processes and solutions to support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot, Kubernetes.
- Strong experience in building scalable and maintainable applications using Spring Boot framework.
- Good understanding of container orchestration and management using Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
- Experience with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize application performance in cloud environments.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
