SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) solutions. The position focuses on technical development, with a strong functional understanding of core ERP modules, to ensure stable, scalable, and compliant enterprise solutions. The engineer partners closely with functional teams to deliver integrations, enhancements, and production support.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement customizations and extensions within Oracle E-Business Suite R12 environments.
2. Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.
3. Build and support Oracle EBS integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
4. Provide technical support across key functional modules, including AP, AR, PO, SO, GL, Supply Chain, and eBTax.
5. Collaborate with functional analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
6. Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of functional and technical issues.
7. Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts and assist with environment troubleshooting.
8. Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation practices, and change management procedures.
9. Support testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
10. Participate in production support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Core Skill Set (Must-Have)
1. Strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite R12 architecture and technical components.
2. Advanced PL/SQL development experience.
3. Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS integrations (REST and SOAP).
4. Strong understanding of ERP functional processes across Finance and Supply Chain modules.
5. Working knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting.
6. Ability to analyze and resolve complex production issues.
7. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
8. Ability to work independently and within Agile or hybrid delivery models.
Extended Skill Set (Nice-to-Have)
1. Oracle Forms personalization and workflow experience.
