Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications using modern .NET technologies. The role includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable and reliable solutions that meet business requirements. Daily activities involve developing application components, resolving technical issues, participating in code reviews, and contributing to application enhancements while following Agile methodologies and software development best practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements.
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications using .NET technologies and modern development practices.
- Work closely with senior developers, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and defect resolution activities.
- Support the development of applications that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot or similar) to improve productivity and code quality while following enterprise guidelines.
- Contribute to application enhancements, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow Agile and SDLC practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Document technical changes and communicate progress effectively with project stakeholders.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC, .NET 7.0 or newer, .NET ASP.NET (Web API Service) 7.0 or newer, DAPR Sidecar & Actor Host 1.10.0 or newer, Redis OM (Pub/Sub, Cache) 0.5.3 or newer, TPICAP.Observability (OpenTelemetry 1.3.0, Serilog.AspNet 6.0.1) or newer, C# Programming Language, .NET Architecture, GraphQL (Query Language), Git, Visual Studio, Jira, Confluence, Event-Driven Microservices Architecture, and SAFe/Agile.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and .NET application development.
- Experience in developing and maintaining web applications using modern .NET technologies.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and distributed application development concepts.
- Familiarity with asynchronous messaging and event-driven architecture concepts.
- Experience using Git, GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or similar cloud services.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following coding standards and best practices.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Good To Have Skills:Exposure to financial or trading platforms and financial markets. Knowledge of FIX Protocol.
- Familiarity with serverless architecture and microservices.
- Understanding of TDD/BDD methodologies.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar.
- Experience contributing to Proof of Concept (POC) activities and technical documentation.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ASP.NET MVC.
- This position is based at our Pune Magarpatta office and 2 Days in week office visit.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
