We are seeking experienced Application Support Analysts/Engineers to support Regulatory, Patient Safety, and Medical Affairs applications in a regulated Life Sciences environment. The role focuses on incident and service request management, technical triage, and close collaboration with application configuration and support teams to ensure stable, compliant operation of critical business systems.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of application support experience and hands-on exposure to at least one Regulatory or Medical Affairs system such as Veeva RIM. Responsibilities are aligned to L2 or L3 support levels depending on experience and technical depth.
L2 Application Support Responsibilities
Primary Focus: Operational support, incident resolution, and business user assistance
Manage and resolve L2 incidents and support requests for Regulatory, Safety, and Medical Affairs applications
Perform initial triage, impact analysis, and functional troubleshooting
Support users with issues related to regulatory submissions, registrations, dossiers, safety workflows, or medical content
Execute standard configuration changes, data corrections, and access updates following approved SOPs
Escalate complex, recurring, or high-impact issues to L3 support teams
Document incidents, resolutions, and knowledge articles using Jira and ServiceNow
Ensure all activities comply with GxP, validated system, and regulatory requirements
L3 Application Support Responsibilities
Primary Focus: Deep technical analysis, complex issue resolution, and system stability
Own and resolve complex L3 incidents, including recurring or cross-system issues
Perform in-depth root-cause analysis across configurations, integrations, and vendor components
Design and implement advanced configurations, fixes, and controlled enhancements
Collaborate with vendors (e.g., Veeva), configuration teams, and validation partners
Support release management, regression testing, and post-deployment validation activities
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to L2 support teams
Support audits, inspections, and CSV activities through strong documentation and evidence
Experience & Skills
Minimum 3+ years of application support experience in Life Sciences
Hands-on experience with at least one Regulatory / Patient Safety / Medical Affairs system
Veeva RIM experience is preferred and a strong advantage
Proficiency in incident, problem, and change management tools (Jira, ServiceNow)
Understanding of regulated processes, system validation, and compliance frameworks
