Summary:
As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application requirements are met, overseeing the development process, and providing guidance to team members. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the applications are aligned with business objectives and user needs, while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end implementations of SAP Group Reporting across S/4HANA programs (On-Premises or Public Cloud)
Manage client workshops to define Group Reporting architecture, scope, and reporting requirements.
Own solution architecture for legal/Management consolidation, intercompany elimination, COI (Consolidation of Investments), currency translation, and data collection
Engage with senior finance stakeholders (CFO/Controllers) to capture requirements and provide advisory on consolidation process design and reporting
Define and oversee configuration of master data elements (FS Items, Consolidation Units, Versions, Categories, Hierarchies)
Manage integration of GR with S/4 Universal Journal (ACDOCA), GRDC, and external systems (via flat files or APIs)
Govern the ICMR (Intercompany Matching and Reconciliation) process and integrate it into Data Monitor
Deliver structured and ad-hoc reporting via Fiori apps, SAP Analysis for Office (AFO), and SAC

Drive project documentation (Blueprints, Functional Specs, Test Scripts) and ensure traceability through UAT and deployment
Lead project teams, mentor junior consultants (L10/L11), and ensure timely and quality delivery
Support pre-sales activities, including effort estimation, solutioning, and proposal building
Professional & Technical Skills:
5+ years of Finance/overall experience including at least 3+ years of hands-on SAP Group Reporting implementation
Strong functional understanding of legal & management consolidation, accounting principles, IC reconciliation, and financial close processes
Hands-on experience in:
o Data Monitor & Consolidation Monitor
o Legal consolidation processes i.e Data collection, Currency translation, Elimination, reclassification and other processes
o ICMR configuration and execution
o GRDC forms and flat file templates
o SAC integration for consolidated reporting
Experience in at least 3+ full lifecycle implementations of SAP Group Reporting (S/4 On-premise or Public Cloud)
Good exposure to SAP BPC and/or SAC Planning is an advantage
SAP certification in Group Reporting or S/4HANA for Finance preferred
