Operates shears to cut on plastic and metal. Use various punches for holes and corner customizing. Responsible for following dates work scheduled to produce all offered products in an accurate and timely manner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Uses plastic and metal shears for custom cutting.
- Beveling plastic using beveling machine.
- Uses various punchers for holes, corners on custom cut material.
- Use saw for cutting acrylic to customer size.
- Uses radial arm saw for cutting columns.
- Assist others in department as needed.
- Responsible for working in several areas of the Fabrication department as listed in equipment used below
- Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Continual lifting, grasping, and using force with hands.
- Must be able to use force with leg to operate the cutting machine.
- Must be able to lift 36-40lbs occasionally. Must be able to continually lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to move from stationary position to bending, lifting, squatting and reaching positions on a continual basis. Must be able to twist and turn on a continual basis.
- May be noisy at times. Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime as needed

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to use computer keyboard and company software programs
