As a Custody Client Account Services - Analyst within the Securities Services team, you will be responsible for providing Japanese clients with support for new and incremental business activities, fund manager and mandate restructures and client exits. The team works closely with Sales, Client Service Account Managers, New Business Implementation Managers, Transitions Team and directly with JP Morgan clients. The team's activities and schedule vary month by month, depending upon client activity, and as such needs to be flexible in its approach and attitude, in order to provide the best support and service to our client base.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and govern the set-up new global accounts on JPM internal account opening system(s)
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders on the set up of market accounts with subcustodians. (Omnibus, Segregated & documentation markets)
- Manage and coordinate complex client requests including fund restructures, launches and transitions
- Support queries involving account opening, market documentation and maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures and oversight over regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
- Support and coordinate both global and local ad hoc projects and other associated account opening functions as required
- Interact with personnel internally and/or externally and involves competencies such as effective time management, negotiation, influencing and communication skills
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Japanese
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Eager to learn and challenge
- Good interpersonal and relationship skills
- Effective time management skills to handle multi-tasks
- Flexible to changes and to accommodate to operate differently
- Analytical and problem-solving skills including taking the initiative to drive change and enhance controls
