In this role, you will be collaborating with various teams such as Sales and Client Services within Securities Services business, but also collaborating with operations, technology, product development and other stakeholders within the firm.
As a Custody and Fund Services Product Management Associate within Securities Services, you will work closely with Sales, Client Service, Operations, Technology, Product Development, and other business partners to support and enhance our custody and fund services offering in Japan. You will join the local Product Management team responsible for managing the strategy, commercialisation and ongoing development of custody and fund services products provided to institutional clients, including banks and asset managers. These services include custody, cash and liquidity, fund accounting, compliance reporting, performance measurement, risk reporting and other services including data solutions. In this role, you will contribute to product strategy, drive product development initiatives, support business growth, and help ensure effective governance and delivery of product solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the management and ongoing development of custody and fund services products offered to institutional clients in Japan
- Partner with Sales, Relationship Management, Client Service, Operations, and Technology teams to deliver product solutions and address client needs
- Contribute to the execution of local product strategy and help ensure alignment with regional and global business objectives
- Maintain product documentation and client-facing materials, including product definitions, service descriptions, legal agreements, and request for proposal (RFP) responses
- Drive and coordinate product governance activities, including service change requests, product enhancements, and product development initiatives
- Monitor regulatory developments, market trends, industry practices, and evolving client requirements to identify opportunities for product enhancement and differentiation
- Provide subject matter expertise on custody and fund services products and support internal stakeholders on product-related matters
- Support product pricing reviews, cost-to-serve analysis, and deal profitability assessments
- Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects that enhance product capabilities, operational efficiency, and client experience
- Build strong partnerships across local, regional, and global teams to support strategic business objectives
