CURRICULUM INTERN – VISUAL ARTS
We Want To Change The World. We Believe It Starts With Education.
In India, 100 million children from low-income communities grow up without access to the 21st-century skills they need to thrive — from emotional intelligence and digital literacy to everyday money management. This gap leads to a lifetime of limited opportunity, intergenerational poverty, and rising mental health concerns.
What Are We Doing?
At The Apprentice Project (TAP), we're building India's boldest bet on education equity — an AI-powered learning buddy that helps thousands of government school students unlock 21st-century skills. We don't just teach coding or financial literacy — we spark self-confidence, creativity, and lifelong curiosity in children who've been told to "stay in their lane."
We're not looking for employees. We're looking for co-builders — people who want to create generational change, one student at a time.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with a genuine love for Visual Arts and a curiosity about how to bring it alive for children. You don't need to be an expert — but you do need to be comfortable picking up a pencil, a brush, or a craft tool and showing someone else how to use it. You're organised, attentive to detail, and willing to dive into the less glamorous parts of curriculum work — updating trackers, organising drives, checking quality — with the same care you bring to the creative parts. If you want to spend your time making art more accessible to children who rarely get the chance to experience it — you'll thrive here.
About The Role
Engagement: Intern
Time Commitment: 20–30 hours per week
Reports to: Team Lead – Visual Arts
What You'll Do
  • Support development of Visual Arts activities, lesson resources, and project materials.
  • Assist in creating instructional videos demonstrating art techniques and activities.
  • Support basic video recording, editing, formatting, and quality checks.
  • Update curriculum trackers, sheets, and documentation.
  • Create and manage content links and organise resources on Google Drive and other platforms.
  • Support uploading and publishing content on Drive, YouTube, and Plio.
  • Support research for age-appropriate, contextualised Visual Arts activities.
  • Identify missing information, content gaps, or errors and flag them to the Team Lead.
  • Support other routine curriculum and coordination tasks.
Who You Are
  • Basic to good knowledge of Visual Arts — drawing, painting, craft, illustration, etc.
  • Interest or experience in creating art activities for children is preferred.
  • Comfortable demonstrating or explaining simple art techniques.
  • Basic video creation and editing skills are an advantage.
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable with Google Sheets, Google Drive, and digital tools.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
Why Join Us?
Because at TAP, Visual Arts is one of the most powerful ways children in government schools discover what they are capable of. The activities you help develop and the videos you help produce will be the first time many students encounter art as something they can actually do — not just observe. Every resource you create, every quality check you run, and every piece of content you organise will find its way into a classroom. If you want your creative energy to count for something real — this is it.
What You Can Expect?
  • Hands-on learning: Work directly on curriculum that reaches thousands of students across government schools in India.
  • Mentorship: Learn from experienced curriculum designers and subject specialists.
  • Real contribution: Your work will go live — into lesson plans, videos, and student activities that make a difference.
  • Flexible engagement: Intern arrangement with structured outcomes and meaningful time commitment.
  • Stipend: As per TAP's internship compensation structure — details shared during selection.
