The Role

Job Description
Take on a leadership role on our trading floor, where your strategic vision will drive market success and client satisfaction. As an Executive Director in our Currencies and Emerging Markets team, you'll have the opportunity to influence the future of global markets while advancing your career.
As a Currencies and Emerging Markets Trader within our team, you will lead market developments, providing clients with precise product information and executing trades with expertise. Your leadership is crucial in managing risk, liquidity, and exposure, ensuring our trading desk operates at peak efficiency. Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support day-to-day client requests and needs.
  • Analyze and interpret market drivers and movements, understanding cross-asset implications.
  • Independently resolve complex P&L reconciliation issues.
  • Ensure all relevant parties are informed of key developments.
  • Cultivate a balance between revenue generation and building a client franchise.
  • Execute trades with a high degree of competence and strategic insight.
  • Adhere to the firm's risk management policies and legal regulations.
  • Oversee accuracy in post-trade processes and internal controls.
  • Share strategic insights and ideas to drive team success.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, leading people initiatives.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics, Mathematics, or a related field;
  • 10 years of experience in a global markets front office role.
  • Expertise in trade booking and understanding its P&L implications.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental and technical aspects of traded products.
  • Proficiency in market and product terminology.
  • In-depth knowledge of transaction lifecycle costs.
  • Ability to manage and mitigate different types of risk.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Demonstrable proficiency with quantitative frameworks and pricing models.
  • Ability to anticipate and explain market movements.
  • Proven experience in training and developing junior team members.
