Responsible for conducting the daily duties of the Cure Department, while ensuring that all Native Roots products is consistent and high quality. Works closely with the Cure Supervisor to effectively and efficiently dry and cure Native Roots flowers. Handles harvested products on a daily basis while drying and curing. Also cleans and sanitizes dry/cure rooms and all associated equipment to Native Roots standards.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct daily Cure Team duties (taking down a dry/cure room, preparing and maintaining
  • dry/cure rooms).
  • Follow all SOPs for the Dry/Cure process.
  • Responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of all cure rooms and equipment.
  • Observe flower in dry and cure rooms and report contaminated products to the Supervisor.
  • Manipulate product in the dry and cure rooms to ensure even moisture loss and consistent, uniform drying.
  • Communicate any abnormalities with the product to the Cure Supervisor.
  • Influence decisions by shift supervisors and management about product disposition.
  • Verify tags/strain/license/batch ID of recent harvests.
  • Complete special projects as required.
  • Any other duties assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MED Key/Support Badge 
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous cannabis or agricultural experience
  • Ability to understand basic scientific concepts
  • Metrc knowledge
  • Degree in Plant Sciences

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of curing product.
  • Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
  • Ability to lift up and push/pull up to 50 lbs.

COMPENSATION DETAILS:

  • Pay range: $18.50 to $19.00; actual pay will be determined based on qualifications
  • Bonus eligible based on team specific terms.
  • Accrue paid time off (PTO) immediately; starting at 2 weeks per year.
  • Health, dental, vision, life, disability, accident, and critical illness insurance plans available.
  • Retirement plans available after 6 months of employment.
