SUMMARY:The Senior Executive Assistant to the HR Director provides high-level administrative, operational, and project support to the HR Director in a Tribal Health Care Authority. This position serves as a trusted liaison between executive leadership, departments, vendors, tribal leadership, and external partners. The role is responsible for coordinating strategic initiatives, managing executive communications, organizing meetings, maintaining confidential records, assisting with HR projects and activities, and supporting the HR goals and objectives.
QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- Requires an AA degree and 5 (five) years progressively responsible experience in human resources and administrative work experience. Other combinations of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the essential functions of the positon may be considered.
- Requires knowledge of HR laws and best practices.
- Requires advanced knowledge of the Tribes’ policies and procedures and the Administrative structure and procedures.
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License is required and be insurable.
Skills Required
- Associate (AA) degree and 5 years progressively responsible human resources and administrative experience (or equivalent combination).
- Knowledge of HR laws and best practices.
- Advanced knowledge of the Tribe's policies, procedures, and administrative structure.
- Valid Washington State Driver's License and insurable driving record.
What We Do
The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation is a sovereign tribal government representing twelve bands in northeastern Washington. The Tribe manages roughly 1.4 million acres (about 2,100 square miles), provides government services, natural-resource stewardship, and member programs, and supports tribal enterprises and public services for thousands of enrolled members, operating a multi‑program administration that employs over a thousand people.
