We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and patient-centered CT Technologist to join our perioperative team in a busy office-based urology surgery center on a PRN basis.
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Prepare and position patients for scanning, explaining the process to alleviate patient concerns
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
- Inspect and maintain imaging equipment
- Assist radiologists with image guided procedures
- Collaborate with radiology staff and other healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care
Requirements
Requirements:
- Prior customer service experience in a healthcare setting
- Prior scheduling experience in a medical office setting
- Ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service with a patient-care focus
- Excellent communications skills, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Computer proficiency
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience:
- Medical Office: 1+ years (Required)
- Customer Service: 1+ years (Required)
- Computer Skills: 3+ years (Preferred)
Skills Required
