The CT Tech operates Cat Scan equipment to perform a variety of imaging procedures as indicated by protocol. Attends to direct and indirect patient care needs to ensure successful completion of their imaging procedures.
Responsibilities- Performs a variety of diagnostic CT Scan procedures
- Obtains all required documentation/supplies.
- Assures correct patient information on requests, reports and PAC's.
- Organizes work area and maintains supplies.
Education:
- Required: Graduate of Allied Health Program
Experience:
- Six months experience in trauma, stroke, pediatrics and invasive procedures.
- May include student clinical rotation completed at St. Mary's or like facility.
License:
- Radiography (ARRT) Certified Radiological Technologist .
- CT certificate required within 12 months of hire.
Certifications:
- BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)
