Description
The Radiologic / CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures including general radiography and computed tomography (CT) exams to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and injury. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality imaging, radiation safety, and compassionate patient care in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Experience: Previous experience in Radiology required; minimum three years of CT experience preferred.
Specific Skills: Proficiency in venipuncture, contrast administration, cross-sectional anatomy, and radiologic positioning techniques.
Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with RIS, PACS, and general computer systems.
Licensure: ARRT (R) required; MRTBE CRT required; MRTBE CTCT preferred or required depending on assignment.
Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification.
