Job Type: Per Diem

Operates radiographic equipment in compliance with manufacturer specifications.  Follows imaging protocols for ordered exams.  Obtains optimum CT Scan imaging following ALARA principals.   Participates in the quality, process and performance improvement initiatives as requested.  Performs timely documentation in radiology computer systems. Meets departmental performance expectations and Customer Service Standards of Excellence. 

Qualifications

EDUCATION:     

  • Graduate of accredited program in radiologic technology
  • Associate in Science Degree preferred
  •  

EXPERIENCE:    

  • Previous CT experience or CT training program attendance strongly preferred;        
  • 2 years recent experience in CT scan technology is desirable

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

  • ARRT registered in Radiology;  
  • CT Registered or Registry Eligible; must be registered in CT within 12 months of hire;  
  • Florida license, American Heart Association BLS certification.

About the Team

Delray Medical Center, part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 536-bed acute care hospital spanning 30 acres, employing over 1,700 employees, 700 physicians and serving southern Palm Beach County for over 40 years. As both a community hospital and state-designated Level I Trauma Center, Delray Medical Center offers several specialized services including advanced cardiac and vascular facilities, orthopedics, neurosciences, emergency care and weight-loss surgery. Pinecrest Rehabilitation and Outpatient Hospital at Delray Medical Center is the only state designated brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation program in the county by the State of Florida. Skills Required
