Job Summary:  

Operates CT equipment to perform a variety of imaging studies as indicated by established protocols and manufacturer specifications. Obtains optimum diagnostic CT imaging following ALARA principals. Prepares rooms, supplies and equipment for patient usage. Prepares timely documentation in Cerner and PACS. Attends to direct and indirect patient care needs to ensure successful completion of requested imaging studies. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

  • Organizes work area and maintains supplies.
  • Assures correct patient information on requests, reports and PACS.
Qualifications

Education:    
•    Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists 

Licenses, Certifications:
•    American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
•    Licensed Radiologic Technologists, State of Florida (HRS)
•    ARRT CT Certification (IF applicable, CT Certification within 1-year of hire).
•    Current CPR (BCLS) certification
 

Experience:

•   Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologist with ARRT CT certification within one-year of onboarding.  A minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care setting performing CT and radiography imaging procedures.
