CSSP CYBERSECURITY PROGRAM MANAGER JOB POSTING

Our work depends on the Cybersecurity Program Manager joining our team to play a critical leadership role in supporting Defensive Cyberspace Operations and Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) missions. This position directly impacts the protection of global digital infrastructure and sensitive data by enabling the success of highly specialized cyber operations teams. The PM ensures cohesive, well‑coordinated execution of all contract requirements, maintaining compliance, ensuring continuity of operations, and driving high‑quality cyber defense outcomes that preserve the integrity of mission critical systems.

 

 

HOW CYBERSECURITY PROGRAM MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Program Management & Oversight
    • Lead end‑to‑end management of all contract requirements, ensuring timely, high‑quality execution across all CSSP and Cyberspace Operations Support functions
    • Implement Continuous Process Improvements to increase mission efficiency and reduce operational risk
    • Oversee development and delivery of all CDRLs, including Transition Plans, IMCP, and Government Property reports
  • Mission-critical Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Serve as the day‑to‑day focal point for coordination with customer leadership, the Contracting Officer (PCO), Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and the Government Watch Officer (WO) team
    • Facilitate cross‑team synchronization between Cybersecurity Service Provider operations and Cyberspace Operations Support teams
    • Oversee team alignment with Higher Headquarters (HHQ) requirements (JFHQ‑DoWIN, DISA, USCYBERCOM, DC3, etc.)
  • Team Leadership & Workforce Readiness
    • Manage all contractor personnel, teammates, and subcontractors under non‑personal services requirements
    • Ensure all team members maintain required certifications and mandatory training
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance
    • Ensure service delivery aligns with contract performance standards and support Government Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) assessments
    • Oversee RMF compliance activities, documentation reviews, SOP/TTP development, cybersecurity reporting, and continuous monitoring requirements
  • Challenge Resolution
    • Lead cross‑functional issue resolution, engaging SMEs across cybersecurity disciplines
    • Facilitate decision making for incidents, escalations, mission essential support requirements, and surge/on‑call activities
    • Proactively identify risks, operational bottlenecks, and resource gaps across distributed teams and geographically dispersed sites

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Required Experience:
    • 8+ years of experience managing DoD, federal cybersecurity, or IT programs valued at $30M per year or greater
    • 5+ years managing multidisciplinary technical teams
    • Experience leading programs with classified systems, RMF activities, or cyber operations
  • Required Certifications
    • PMP – Project Management Professional required
    • CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional strongly preferred
    • CISM – Certified Information Security Manager strongly preferred
  • Required Technical Skills:
    • Program/Project Management expertise within DoD environments.
    • Understanding of Defensive Cyberspace Operations and cybersecurity monitoring operations
    • Familiarity with cyber defense tools (ACAS, SIEM, EDR systems)
    • Experience with RMF (categorization through continuous monitoring)
    • Ability to manage CDRLs and contract documentation requirements
    • Experience supporting cyber‑specific SOP/TTP development
  • Security Clearance Level:
    • Minimum Secret; TS/SCI eligibility preferred
  • Required Skills and Abilities:
    • Exceptional communication across technical and executive audiences
    • Strong problem‑solving, prioritization, and risk‑management skills
    • Ability to lead cross‑functional teams in fast‑moving operational environments
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to manage sensitive information and enforce NDA/compliance requirements
  • Preferred Skills:
    • PMP, PgMP, or similar certification
    • Prior experience managing CSSP or DCO programs
    • Experience supporting elastic analytics environments or threat hunt operations
    • Familiarity with JFHQ-DoWIN taskers, CTOs, FRAGOs, OPORDs.
    • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams
  • Location:
    • Full-time, on‑site Huntsville, AL (telework limited)

The likely salary range for this position is $147,292 - $199,278. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
