Bruceton Petroleum Company, Inc., is hiring a Customer Service Representative to manage customer petroleum orders and queries. You will also be asked to process orders, modification, and escalate complaints across a number of communication channels. To do well in this role, you will need to be able to remain calm when customers are frustrated and have experience working with computers.
REPORTS TO: Manager and Director of Operations
Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Use telephones to respond promptly to incoming customer inquiries and reach out to customers to verify account information.
- Communicate with customers through various channels (phone calls, emails, etc)
- Take payment information and other pertinent information such as address, phone number, product and gallons ordered.
- Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints.
- Knowledge of our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
- Process orders, forms, databases and various requests.
- Keep records of customer orders, transactions, comments and complaints.
- Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary.
- Utilize computer technology to handle high call volumes.
- Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
Perform such similar, comparable, or related duties as may be required or assigned.
QualificationsCustomer Service Representative Requirements:
- High school diploma; general education degree, or equivalent.
- Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
- Comfortable using computers (Microsoft Outlook & Excel).
- Experience working with customer support.
