Job Description:
Context
Leads a small team which delivers a specialized output and might be required to provide in-fab engineering support (if relevant). Coordinates multiple activities which are specific as to objective and content. The work activities require at least Bachelor working and thinking level. The interaction with other teams requires a good understanding of the interfaces with other disciplines/parties.
Supervises work of ≥5 subordinates.
Requirements
Substantial general experience in field/operations management with substantial general work experienc and thinking level..
Experienced in leading or influencing a team in a complex customer facing environment is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering related field is required and Masters Degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
Strategy Implementation
Coordinates and ensures execution of operational plans, time horizon typically is several months.
Lead and drive the realization of planned results, monitor customer satisfaction, handle and/or monitor the handling of escalations, manage relationships with customers, monitor key performance indicators and take corrective measures if needed.
Business Optimization & Organizaitonal Development
Indicates, analyses and advises on optimization opportunities. Delivers a contribution to the development of business-plans and decision-making processes for the appointed team. Evaluates (work) processes for own functional discipline and initiates and implements process improvements. Maintains operational plannings, guidelines and procedures.
Decision making
Takes decisions of an operational nature, through selecting and applying the appropriate way of working from a wide range of procedures and processes.
Leadership and output realization
Creates a high performing team, secures the achievement of relevant KPI’s and is responsible for: on-time, correct and complete realization of determined team objectives; highly motivated and capable team members and performance management.
Stakeholder management
Creates a relevant network of stakeholders of in- and external counterparts. Organizes an adequate feedback loop on achieved results and secures reliable business insights. Explains and convinces internal and external parties about chosen solutions, based on content-driven arguments.
Stakeholders are typically other Team Leaders.
Knowledge and information management
Keeps up with internal and external developments and ensures development, transfer and retention of knowledge and information, initiates new ways of working to optimize processes.
