Job Details
We are seeking a dedicated Intern Critical Systems Engineer with a focus on electrical or mechanical engineering skills to join our team. The intern will work closely with our critical systems team to support the design, maintenance, and optimization of mission-critical infrastructure components. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in managing high-reliability systems within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, installation, and testing of critical electrical and mechanical systems.
- Support the monitoring and maintenance of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, backup generators, HVAC systems, and other critical infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with team members to conduct performance assessments and implement efficiency improvements.
- Participate in emergency response drills and contribute to disaster recovery planning.
- Research industry trends and best practices related to critical systems engineering.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future
Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles as they relate to critical infrastructure systems.
- Familiarity with data center operations, power distribution systems, cooling technologies, and facility management is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
