Job Details
We are seeking a dedicated Intern Critical Systems Engineer with a focus on electrical or mechanical engineering skills to join our team. The intern will work closely with our critical systems team to support the design, maintenance, and optimization of mission-critical infrastructure components. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in managing high-reliability systems within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, installation, and testing of critical electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Support the monitoring and maintenance of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, backup generators, HVAC systems, and other critical infrastructure components.
  • Collaborate with team members to conduct performance assessments and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Participate in emergency response drills and contribute to disaster recovery planning.
  • Research industry trends and best practices related to critical systems engineering.


Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future


Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles as they relate to critical infrastructure systems.
  • Familiarity with data center operations, power distribution systems, cooling technologies, and facility management is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
