We are looking for an experienced Credit Management Specialist (fixed contract 1 year, due to Maternity Leave) to join our team of Credit Management part of Finance & Treasury Department.

 

The Credit Management Specialist will support the team in managing commercial credits, in compliance with companies’ policies, to safeguard working capital and minimize credit risks. 

In particular, the Credit Specialist will be involved in credit management activities, from credit rating to dunning, for foreign markets. 

 

What you'll do:

  • Analyze solvency and reliability of customer companies through credit insurance companies and commercial information providers 

  • Determine payment terms in line with Group policies 

  • Manage accounts receivable (customer master data coding, invoice/credit note issuance, payment/non-payment recording, etc.) 

  • Maintain relationships with customers in coordination with the commercial function 

  • Perform reporting activities on aging and credit limit utilization 

  • Negotiate and manage letters of credit and bank guarantees 

  • Carry out credit collection activities, manage disputes in coordination with various functions, negotiate repayment plans 

  • Monitor daily incoming payments and outstanding amounts. 

  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes. 

  • Utilize financial software such as SAP, or other Business systems for reporting purposes. 

  • Other accounting/compliance activities requested by the Associate Manager. 

 

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. 

  • 1+ years of credit experience 

  • Previous experience in accounting software (SAP, or similar ERP systems) 

  • Good usage of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. 

  • Fluency in Italian; additional language skills are a plus.
