- Develop and implement
credit risk policies and strategies SME lending portfolio. - Monitor and analyze the credit portfolio performance, identifying
potential risks and opportunities for improvement. - Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best
practices in credit risk management to enhance the bank's risk management
framework. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists
and underwriters, to optimize risk decisioning and scoring model
performance. - Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and credit analysis for
loan applications, ensuring adherence to risk standards and guidelines. - Work with the team of IT business analysts and developers to
implement relevant changes in product, decision strategy and scoring in
relevant loan origination software and decision engine - Responsible for credit application approval rate and all relevant
portfolio risk metrics (PAR, COR, NPL, etc.) - Be involved in budgeting and plan achievement of all relevant
portfolio risk metrics - Conduct periodic stress tests and scenario analyses to assess the
portfolio's resilience to economic changes. - Continuous search and analysis of alternative data sources for
scoring model and decision making optimization - Contribute to the effective management of all credit risk related
issues and opportunities and maintain effective working relationships
with team members, other colleagues, and customers. - Provide insightful risk
reports and recommendations to senior management and contribute to
strategic decision-making. - Bachelor’s/University
degree, Master’s degree preferred. - 2-3 years of analytical experience; Preferably in SME lending.
- Working knowledge of Bank operating systems, lines of business,
products will be an advantage. - Strong
data skills: highly proficient in
Excel, competence in SQL select methods. Knowledge of Python (Pandas)
will be an advantage. - Excellent analytical,
verbal and written communication, exceptional interpersonal, and
relationship building skills with business stakeholders. - Strategic thinker with the ability to review a situation from
varied perspectives as well as a willingness to make judgment calls and
decisions based on experience and reasonableness tests. - Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Ability to streamline complex processes
- Ability to meet strict deadlines with excellent follow-up skills
- Comfortable with a “hands-on” approach and balancing multiple,
competing priorities and changes in scope/direction, all with a high
