Lavipharm is looking for a highly efficient and dynamic Credit Controller to join the Finance team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day activities of credit department.
- Monitor and manage the credit control processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Review and analyze financial records of customers to assess creditworthiness.
- Maintain accurate credit files and records and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and address any payment delays or discrepancies promptly.
- Work closely with customers providing excellent customer service and resolving billing inquiries or disputes.
- Generate regular reports on accounts receivable, collections and credit risk to management
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to credit control and propose process enhancements when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing credit and accounts receivables or in a similar credit management role
- Strong knowledge of credit control principles and practices
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial information, perform risk assessments and make informed credit decisions
- Ability to implement accounting principles and practices effectively
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively resolve conflicts
