Performs ongoing credit analysis and risk monitoring for key financial institutions including banks and trading counterparties, natural gas producers, marketers, and pipeline operators, suppliers and contractors, and large-volume commercial and industrial customers. 2. Evaluates financial statements, public filings, credit ratings, market indicators, and other risk metrics to assess counterparty creditworthiness. Monitors changes in financial conditions, rating agency actions, and market events that may impact counterparty risk. 3. Recommends and maintains credit limits, exposure thresholds, and collateral requirements in accordance with approved credit policies. Administers collateral arrangements including letters of credit, parent guarantees, cash collateral, and security agreements, ensuring ongoing sufficiency and compliance with contractual and policy requirements. 4. Monitors daily and periodic credit exposure across gas supply contracts, transportation agreements, vendor contracts, and customer balances. Provides credit input for new contracts, amendments, and renewals. Escalates deteriorating credit conditions, covenant breaches, or limit exceedances to management with actionable recommendations. 5. Prepares regular credit risk reports and dashboards, counterparty exposure summaries, concentration risk analysis, high-risk counterparties and watch lists. Supports stress testing and scenario analysis related to commodity price movements, supply disruptions, or counterparty failures. 6. Partners with Gas Supply, Treasury, and Procurement to support contract structuring, counterparty onboarding, and ongoing risk oversight. 7. Supports internal and external audits, regulatory requests, and the enhancement and documentation of credit policies, procedures, and internal controls. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Requires Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field and a minimum of four years experience in credit analysis, counterparty risk, financial analysis; or equivalent. Experience in evaluating financial statements and credit metrics required. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers at a high level on matters that are technical and/or complex in nature. NUMERIC SKILLS: Requires the ability to perform algebraic operations and employ simple statistical, financial analysis and accounting methods. COMPUTER SKILLS: Requires an advanced knowledge of various software applications for creating documents, reports and graphics. Advanced Excel skills and experience with credit risk, ERP, or energy trading systems preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
