Responsibilities:
- Understand Hypebeast’s platform and products, and use that knowledge to develop ideas and build campaigns that use our brand’s cultural acumen to produce content and experiences that exceed client expectations.
- Work across creative, production, editorial, sales and account management teams to build campaigns, ensuring all content deliverables align with the HYPEBEAST mission, client objectives, and budget.
- Write and structure pitch decks, creative briefs, and narratives that clearly communicate the campaign strategy and creative approach.
- Utilize data, insights, research and past campaign performance to inform new and updated strategies.
- Identify creative white space across platforms and recommend formats, rollouts, or partnership models that feel ownable to the brand.
- Mentor junior talent by offering direction, feedback, and collaborative guidance during concept development.
- Proactively pitch new opportunities for brand innovation, both internally and in response to client briefs.
- Ideate new and innovative ways to rollout content and get eyes on our work.
- Analyze content opportunities across platforms and competitors and recommend strategies, interactions or approaches.
- Focus on team and organizational needs - creating proactive opportunities to improve team communication and creativity.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams on project objectives and deliverables.
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience as a creative, copywriter, editor or strategist at a publisher, creative agency, or similar.
- Concept, develop and pitch campaigns aligned to client goals that fit within a specific cultural lens and make sense within a given product set.
- Utilize provided data and client creative strategy/platforms to inform creative decision making.
- Translate top-line ideas into detailed strategy-led and/or creative-led campaigns.
- Propose content launches strategies and campaign rollouts.
- Justify campaign ideas and build creative arguments through research, data, and insights.
- Use past campaign performance to inform new ideas.
- Pitch ideas in an easy-to-understand and compelling way, both written and verbally to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working cross-functionally across sales, account, and production teams, prioritizing deliverables and deadlines.
- In-depth understanding of the HYPEBEAST brand as well as the landscape of contemporary youth culture, including but not limited to: fashion, art, design, music, sports.
- Proficient in Keynote and have experience with Adobe design suite.
