Creative Services Producer

ABC 17, FOX 22, MyZouTV and Me-TV is looking for someone to help grow the stations and its properties through commercial production.  The right candidate will be a creative writer with an education and/or background in marketing or video production and the ability to learn on the job and handle multiple projects at the same time.  A graphic design skill set would be ideal in the candidate.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  The Creative Services Producer will work in a fast-paced environment of video production and as a project manager for our advertising clients.  The employee will be expected to conceive, write, shoot and edit production for local businesses partners of ABC 17, FOX 22, MyZouTV & Me-TV.

SKILLS:  The right candidate must be a superb writer with the ability to develop creative ideas for marketing and be able to execute those ideas from conception through final product.  The employee must be able to work individually and as a member of a team.  A basic background in all aspects of video production including videography, non-linear editing and graphic creation is preferred.  The ability to grow and improve is a must.

HOURS/SCHEDULE:  This is a full-time position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm.  Some flexibility to work extra hours, nights and weekends on occasion is required.

EDUCATION:  A college degree in, communication, marketing, graphic design or video production is preferred.  Applicable professional experience is a plus.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The position will require the transport and operation of production equipment.  Employees must be able to handle equipment weighing up to 30 pounds without assistance.  The position will also require operation of a company motor vehicle.  Candidate must pass a drug test, background check, and motor vehicle record check.
