Your Role
We are seeking a hyper organized Creative Project Manager to work alongside O Positiv’s creative team to deliver impactful and well-scoped creative projects. You will work with stakeholders and the creative team to manage the development and process of creative from concept, brief, to creative execution. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time. 

The ideal candidate is a hyper organized creative briefing wizard, who excels at collaboration and communication. They are excited by managing efficient creative processes and creative files/assets.

They’ll have a deep understanding of creative work flows (i.e. time and effort of creative tasks) and can build accurate resourcing plans based on this understanding. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized, strategic and visionary Project Manager to make a massive impact. This position reports to the Director of Creative Performance.

Responsibilities and Duties

Project Management

  • Oversee and coordinate multiple creative projects from start to finish, ensuring each project is executed on time and within scope.
  • Manage project workflows by assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring all team members are aligned with the project goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans detailing objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Regularly review project status through tools like Asana, and make necessary adjustments to keep everything on track.
  • Work with partners to concept creative briefs, brief creative team, track feedback, build accurate timelines, and can master multitasking of projects within short deadlines.

Creative Process Understanding

  • Collaborate closely with creative teams, including designers, copywriters, creative strategists, and producers to see through projects from start to finish.
  • Have an accurate understanding of time, effort and workflows of projects and resource creative needs accurately, assessing team availability.
  • Create and own the creative process: maintaining detailed project timelines, outlining key milestones and deadlines.
  • Maintain and improve on existing processes, manage resourcing and project deliverables and meet tight-deadlines.

People Leadership

  • Communicate effectively in high pressure environments.
  • Build strong relationships and trust within internal teams to create the best work possible.
  • Motivate and empathetically collaborate with a team of creatives, and collaborate with key stakeholders for the ambitious goal of making creative that performs.

Qualifications and Skills
Work Experience:

  • 4+ years in project management experience
  • Experience in being a PM for creative teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong ability to use project management softwares like Asana

Interpersonal:

  • Flexible with change and feedback; a proactive problem solver
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Curious, thoughtful & self-reflective with a willingness to learn
  • Team-player, collaborative, hard-working, organized, and goal-oriented
  • Excitement for startups and building from the ground up

Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Startup and/or e-commerce experience is a bonus
  • Passion for e-commerce, consumer retail and/or digital marketing is a plus

Hours and Compensation
This is a full-time, salaried position. The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $90,000 - $100,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

  • Position will be based out of Santa Monica, Los Angeles - in person (Mon-Thurs in office/Friday remote)
