So, what's the job?
We're hiring a Creative Performance Strategist to join Guardio's Performance team. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who treats paid creative as a scientific discipline - generating sharp hypotheses, shipping fast, reading performance signals, and turning insights into winning ads. You’ll work in a high-volume testing environment where speed, iteration, and decision quality matter more than polished presentations.
You’ll operate inside a highly AI-driven creative workflow using emerging tools to generate, test, iterate, and scale paid ads faster than traditional teams.
You will:
- Own a portion of Guardio’s creative portfolio end-to-end - from identifying winning angles and writing briefs, through hands-on or collaborative production, to performance analysis, testing, and iteration.
- Create winning video and static ads that drive measurable business growth through scalable media buying and rapid creative optimization.
- Generate testing hypotheses across hooks, angles, personas, formats, channels, and landing-page pairings; partner with media buyers to ship them and read the results.
- Read performance dashboards daily - translate CPA, hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CVR, and other media signals into clear decisions about what to scale, iterate on, or shut down.
- Constantly study the market - competitors, creators, trends, formats, hooks, and emerging ad patterns - and translate those insights into new testing opportunities.
Who we're looking for:
- 3+ years in performance creative (direct-response, not brand) - agency, in-house B2C, or scale-up.
- Comfortable using AI creative tools and proactively exploring new ones. AI should already be a core part of your creative workflow.
- Comfortable working directly with performance dashboards and translating media signals into creative decisions independently.
- Strong feel for current paid creative across all major performance channels - not just organic social trends.
- Writes clear, specific briefs that a creator, editor, or AI pipeline can execute without rounds of clarification.
- Fluent English (written and verbal).
- Cybersecurity, fintech, or other trust-sensitive B2C vertical experience is an advantage.
- Hands-on craft experience (editing, design, copywriting, directing) is a plus - but the core skill set is creative judgment paired with data fluency.
