Supports the fast‑paced creative team behind all owned and licensed brands within the Designer Brands portfolio. Manages the flow of creative work—from early concept through production—ensuring ideas move smoothly and efficiently across teams. Develops workflows that strengthen day‑to‑day operations, supports photoshoots on set, and helps keep creative projects aligned with timelines and brand expectations. Builds strong connections across the organization to ensure creative projects land with clarity, consistency, and impact.
What You’ll Be DoingProject & Workflow Management
- Support the full lifecycle of creative projects, including ideation, planning, execution, and delivery.
- Maintain project timelines, track deadlines, and communicate updates to keep work moving seamlessly.
- Traffic creative marketing project briefs within Adobe Workfront and coordinate daily scheduling needs.
- Intake and assign project briefs to the creative team, ensuring direction, scope, and objectives are clear.
- Act as a liaison between creative teams and internal partners to align priorities with business needs.
- Work closely with designers, copywriters, and other team members to coordinate assignments and resource needs.
- Communicate clearly across departments to maintain strong alignment and visibility into project progress.
- Serve as an on‑set production assistant for photo and video shoots, supporting photographers, stylists, and creative leads.
- Assist with shoot logistics such as preparing call sheets, facilitating talent communication, and supporting post‑production needs.
- Help ensure shoots run smoothly by anticipating needs and problem‑solving in real time.
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions that improve workflow efficiency and project delivery.
- Track current and upcoming creative projects, monitor timelines, and report progress to senior leadership.
- Proactively identify roadblocks and take steps to keep projects on track.
- Continuously evaluate and refine creative processes to support high‑quality output.
- Stay informed on fashion, creative operations, and project management trends.
- Integrate new insights into workflows to support innovation and efficiency within the creative team.
Project & Creative Operations Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in creative operations, project management, or production management—preferably in the fashion or creative industry.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while balancing timelines, resources, and shifting priorities.
- Experience with project management software; Adobe Workfront experience is a plus.
Communication & Collaboration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner across creative and non‑creative teams.
- Ability to communicate status updates, challenges, and solutions clearly and confidently.
Organizational & Detail Orientation
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to keep track of many moving pieces.
- Strong organizational skills to support complex, fast‑moving production environments.
Technical & Process Skills
- Understanding of creative workflows, design processes, and brand consistency needs.
- Proficiency with digital asset management systems and design‑related tools (e.g., SharePoint, Bynder).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to anticipate and address issues early.
Education (Preferred)
- Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Fashion Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in creative operations or project management within the fashion industry.

Designer Brands is one of North America’s largest designers, producers and retailers of footwear and accessories that operates retail concepts. Our primary concept, DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, offers brand name and designer dress, casual and athletic footwear and accessories. The first store opened in 1991 in Dublin, Ohio.
