The Role

Who we are:

Onboard is a all-in-one financial platform for the next generation of global professionals — creators, freelancers, remote workers and entrepreneurs. We combine USD banking, cards, crypto & cross-border payments in one app. We’re building a bold, creative, and radically useful brand through content, community, and culture, not atraditional ads.

We’re launching with a video-first go-to-market strategy powered by a full-stack creator engine that includes:

  • A 10+ person creator intern program
  • A flagship YouTube content series
  • A series of UGC-driven IRL events
  • A global creator competition to find undiscovered talent
  • A 6-person creator collective formed from the most exceptional applicants

And we’re just getting started.


The role:

We’re looking for a Creative Marketing Director to own, shape, and scale our creator-led growth strategy. You’ll be the architect and executor of our video-first, culture-powered marketing engine. You’re part strategist, part content creator, and part team builder.

You know how to turn scrolls into stops and stories into shares. You live where content meets culture, and you’re not afraid to step in front of the camera to lead from the front.

This isn’t a media buying role. This is marketing through taste, content, talent, and community.


What you will do:

  • Strategy & Creative Direction
    • Design and execute our end-to-end content marketing strategy from launch campaigns to long-term flywheel
    • Develop content themes, challenge formats, and cultural hooks that align with our brand
    • Collaborate directly with the founding team on voice, tone, positioning, and storytelling direction
  • Creator Team Management & Production
    • Recruit and manage a squad of 3–5 shortform-native creators (typically 25K–100K+ followers)
    • Lead creative sprints, challenge cycles, and content experiments with internal and external creators
    • Review, approve, and publish platform-native video content across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
  • Content Distribution & Channel Growth
    • Own the content calendar and publishing rhythm (3–10 videos/week across platforms)
    • Coordinate with editors and producers for fast-turn, high-quality video output
    • Optimize for algorithm trends, cultural relevance, and community resonance
  • Campaigns, Events & Community
    • Support IRL events by shaping the content strategy and driving post-event UGC loops
    • Lead digital storytelling around key creator campaigns, competitions, and cultural moments
    • Work cross-functionally with design and ops teams to drive cohesive execution
  • Performance & Growth Insights
    • Track KPIs: views, engagement, growth, conversion
    • A/B test hooks, formats, and calls to action and optimize based on real feedback
    • Turn insights into action: scale what works, kill what doesn’t


What we expect to find in you:

  • 3–6 years experience in content marketing, audience development, or creator-led brand growth
  • Experience building an audience yourself (50K+ followers) or creating viral content repeatedly
  • Experience managing or worked closely with creators and influencer teams
  • Strong taste and instincts; you know what will hit and what won’t
  • Experience building and scaling a social content engine across multiple platforms
  • Comfort in editing and briefing on short-form video (CapCut, InShot, or similar tools)
  • You are deeply embedded in internet and creator culture (especially TikTok & YouTube)
  • Are organized, self-motivated, and thrive in fast-moving environments

  • Have worked in or alongside startups, agencies, or creator collectives
  • Can jump in front of the camera or direct behind it
  • Have experience with event marketing or street-style content
  • Have a network of editors, producers, or creators
