We create possibilities that move life and commerce forward

Welcome to Manhattan. Every day, our supply chain commerce technology connects two billion people to 20 billion consumer choices. In the warehouse, on the road and in the store, we make what was once impossible, possible. If you want to tackle complex problems and redefine markets, you’ve come to the right place.

The Opportunity

Manhattan Associates is building a more visible, more distinctive, and more dominant brand. We are looking for a Creative Director to define how Manhattan looks, sounds, and feels across the moments that matter, from campaigns and digital experiences to video, print and production, customer stories, and global events.

This is a builder role for a creative leader who can move fluently between big ideas and the last mile of execution. You will set the creative bar, lead a multidisciplinary team, build the operating model that helps great work move quickly, and partner with leaders across Marketing and the business to turn complex technology into clear, compelling stories and experiences.

You will be equally comfortable shaping the concept, challenging the brief, giving precise feedback on a final cut, making a smart budget tradeoffs, or helping the team get a critical deliverable out the door. The work should be ambitious, useful, and unmistakably Manhattan.

What you’ll do

Set the creative vision and protect the brand

· Define and evolve the creative expression of the Manhattan brand across internal and external touchpoints.

· Maintain a high, consistent standard across visual design, motion, photography, video, presentations, environments, and customer-facing experiences.

· Serve as the final creative quality gate for high-visibility work, ensuring that what reaches the market is thoughtful, coherent, and fully resolved.

· Translate brand strategy and narrative into practical direction that teams, regions, agencies, and production partners can execute.

· Help the brand evolve without losing its recognizability, discipline, or distinctive point of view.

Turn complex ideas into meaningful creative

· Partner with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Content, Communications, Digital, Events, Sales, and regional teams to develop work that advances both brand and commercial priorities.

· Translate technical, product-heavy, or jargon-filled inputs into messages, stories, and experiences that people can quickly understand and care about.

· Lead creative development from brief through concept, design, production, launch, and reuse.

· Support a broad range of work, including display and paid media, web and landing pages, campaign systems, social, video, animation, photography, presentations, print, and experiential design.

Lead the creative experience at major moments

· Set the creative direction for global events, trade shows, roadshows, customer experiences, executive gatherings, and other high-visibility brand moments.

· Shape the full experience, including environments, booths, stages, screens, signage, wayfinding, presentations, show flow, content capture, and post-event content reuse.

· Build scalable systems that allow regional teams to express Manhattan with local relevance while maintaining a coherent global standard.

· Partner with senior leaders on high-stakes presentations, internal broadcasts, company communications, and other moments where clarity and polish matter.

Lead people and partners

· Manage, coach, and develop a growing multidisciplinary team across design, video, operations, and production.

· Create clarity around roles, expectations, quality standards, career growth, and decision rights.

· Build a high-trust, low-ego creative culture where people challenge the work, not one another.

· Direct a trusted network of agencies, production companies, freelancers, fabricators, and other specialists for overflow capacity and high-production-value work.

· Make the team more capable over time through strong briefs, useful feedback, repeatable systems, and thoughtful delegation.

Create a faster, smarter creative operation

· Establish the creative operating system: intake, briefing, prioritization, capacity planning, timelines, review stages, approvals, handoffs, and service expectations.

· Make clear tradeoffs among quality, speed, scope, budget, and business value.

· Manage budgets, estimates, vendor selection, scopes of work, and production risk with sound judgment.

· Build reusable templates, toolkits, presentation systems, and self-service capabilities that increase quality and reduce unnecessary rework.

· Help maintain the Digital Asset Management ecosystem and ensure finished work is organized, findable, reusable, and governed.

· Use emerging tools, including AI, thoughtfully, accelerating exploration and production while protecting quality, originality, rights, accessibility, and trust.

· Define and track practical measures of success, including creative quality, throughput, efficiency, adoption, audience response, and contribution to commercial outcomes.

What We need from You

· 10 years of experience leading creative work in-house, at an agency, or in a hybrid environment with deep experience in B2B organizations. Experience in global and highly technical organizations is a plus.

· 5+ years of experience building, developing, and leading high-performing teams that consistently deliver strong results through clear goals, accountability, coaching, and collaboration.

· A portfolio that demonstrates range across brand systems, integrated campaigns, digital, video, presentations, events, and physical or experiential environments.

· A rare combination of creative judgment, operational discipline, and people leadership.

· Strong visual and editorial instincts, the ability to recognize when something is almost right, explain what is missing, and guide the team to a better answer.

· Experience translating complex products, business strategies, and technical subject matter into simple, persuasive, emotionally resonant creative.

· Comfort managing budgets and making practical production decisions without compromising the work unnecessarily.

· Working knowledge of studio production, cameras, lighting, live video workflows, and editing; you do not need to personally execute every discipline, but you should understand how the work gets made.

· Experience building scalable creative processes across regions, channels, and levels of production value.

· The confidence to be a constructive sparring partner with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders , direct about the work, generous with people, and never territorial.

· A high bar for craft, an appetite for experimentation, and the humility to keep learning.

What success looks like

· Manhattan is recognizable, credible, and compelling everywhere it shows up, without becoming repetitive or rigid.

· Creative work reaches the market faster because priorities, processes, and decision-making are clear.

· Major campaigns, events, customer stories, and executive moments feel connected, elevated, and commercially useful.

· The in-house studio becomes a reliable, high-quality capability rather than a collection of equipment.

· The team grows in capability, confidence, and scale while maintaining a strong creative culture.

· External partners extend the team intelligently, with clear scopes, high standards, and strong value.

· Marketing and business partners see Creative as both an exceptional craft function and a trusted strategic partner.

Manhattan Associates Compensation & Benefits Highlights

The following summarizes recurring compensation and benefits themes identified from responses generated by popular LLMs to common candidate questions about Manhattan Associates and has not been reviewed or approved by Manhattan Associates.

  • Fair & Transparent Compensation — Pay is generally characterized as on par with industry standards and often described as fair or above average, with stronger competitiveness in certain roles and at higher seniority. The overall picture suggests a “solid but not standout” base-compensation experience that can feel better when variable pay or role leverage is higher.
  • Wellbeing & Lifestyle Benefits — Well-being programs are positioned as a notable strength, including mental-health resources and support tools such as Headspace access, an EAP, and financial-wellness offerings. These lifestyle-oriented extras appear to elevate the perceived total rewards value beyond salary alone.
  • Parental & Family Support — Family-support benefits are highlighted through caregiving assistance (e.g., Care.com access) and the presence of maternity and paternity/partner leave. The existence of dedicated family and caregiver support contributes positively to the overall benefits perception.
