Job Title:

Creative Communication Manager – Storytelling & Content

About This Role (Purpose)

This role exists to help tell the story of what God is doing in and through Brookwood Church by identifying, capturing, and communicating stories of life change, ministry impact, and church life across both digital and in-person environments.

In this position, you will lead Brookwood’s social media presence while helping bring meaningful stories to life through social media, video, photography, Sunday morning experiences, and key church initiatives. Your work will help people see, celebrate, and connect with the movement of God through Brookwood both inside and beyond our walls.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Lead: Brookwood’s social media strategy, execution, and ongoing content rhythm
  • Build: Volunteer social media and photography teams that help create and capture meaningful content
  • Create: Social media content, short-form video concepts, photography-driven content, and story-based communication assets
  • Own: The identification, development, and execution of stories of life change, ministry impact, and church culture across church communication channels
  • Direct: Storytelling elements for monthly Sunday morning services, testimony moments, Story Sunday, and other major church initiatives—shaping the vision, feel, and final communication outcome in collaboration with Production and Creative partners
  • Equip: Ministry teams with guidance, best practices, and support for ministry-owned social media communication
  • Coordinate: Photography coverage for services, ministry events, seasonal initiatives, and major church moments
  • Partner: With Communications, Creative Services, Production, ministry leaders, and leadership to align storytelling and content with church priorities
